Downloading SIP

Introduction

Our goal is to satisfy our customer needs associated with space weather by providing them with the tools that avoid or mitigate threats to life, services (revenue stream), and facilities due to risks associated with the space environment. Products and services are developed for customers with diverse needs or for unique components of a single customer's business. We use and add value to space physics measurements and models where expertise in space physics is one of our core capabilities.

It is with this vision that SIP provides models of the Sun's irradiance which can be used with other space physics models. The research grade version of the model is available (free of charge under the agreement below) for scientific and engineering research.

Important notes: Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) may experience problems installing. Also, SIP requires that http/Tomcat port 8080 be open to access real-time data: some network security configurations block this alternate http port. Finally, SIP requires that Java version 1.4 or higher be installed. Please contact us for assistance.
